Seems that every gun/anti-gun poll goes quickly to the pro gun point of view.

Why is this?

It's Bush's fault.

'cause the PBB is a stronger and larger force than the rest of the internet! :smokin:

There actually may be some truth to this statement as we seem to mobilize pretty well when needed. Not just gun polls, land issues, wenzel, etc.

It is more than the PBB. Those polls are passed from gun site to gun site quite rapidly. I do think I usually see them here first though. Could be I am just here more that other places though.:p

I think it's because there are very few actual anti-gun individuals. Most of them are politicians and activists; the rest of the world is apathetic about guns. As long as they don't see guns, or are backed into a corner of declaring guns scary, they don't think about guns on a regular basis.

The anti-gun folks ask loaded questions about how scary this evil black terrorist bayonet-lug-equipped sniper rifle is, and the sheeple say "yeah, it's scary" and the majority of sheeple say it's scary, so the anti-gun folks claim "the majority of sheeple think this gun should be banned" while in reality, the majority of sheeple didn't even know it existed, and didn't care, until it was brandished in their face.

It's just like the anti-abortion folks putting a picture of an aborted fetus on a billboard--shove an emotionally charged item in peoples' faces, force them to react emotionally, ride the reaction all the way to the bank.
