: Anyone in Washington run 39.5 TSLs?
Tankota 10-29-2001, 12:54 PM If yes, where do you wheel?
Can you still fit in Elbe Hills ORV area, how about Rimrock?
If you fit in these places, how wide are your axles?
wheelinjp 10-29-2001, 02:41 PM Uhh umm yeah I runum and they are great,I fit everywhere(muffled disguised voice) I cant believe they got my name wrong again. That wheelinjp guy is gonna get pissed if I keep using his name, my name is Austin, not Sean
Tankota 10-29-2001, 03:06 PM Hey I didn't know Austin could type yet! I thought he had just started to crawl (backwards for some reason) recently.
Anyway, I need to know if anyone with 40s runs Elbe or Rimrock and how many problems they have fitting through those places.
(Also, how wide are their axles?)
nuttzack 10-29-2001, 04:54 PM HEy, tankota where do ya live?
Tankota 10-29-2001, 05:05 PM South of Olympia, I just say Olympia cause it is easier that way.
BTW I'd like to see your rig sometime, a sammy w/ 37" boggers would quite interesting.
We're gonna try a run to Elbe in early december, e-mail me so I can notify you when the time gets close.

bashed4runner 10-30-2001, 07:10 AM Dave,
I have a friend with a wagoneer on 39.5 and the only place he can fit is Naches, maybe Elbe(he's never been) but imo they are just too BIG to fit in a lot of hard stuff around here. Are you planning to put those on your FJ ? and hows that runner that sean said you picked up?
Tankota 10-30-2001, 10:37 AM Bashed, I'm just sniffing around to see where those tires will fit. I don't want to get too big cause I like to wheel rimrock and elbe.
For now I'll probably find another set of 36" TSLs cause I won't have to do any mods to run them or fit them and they work pretty darn good.
As for the runner, it is a perfect condition 1990 and it will be staying on the road and completely stock...sorry to disapoint you
The Original Big Al 10-30-2001, 11:39 AM I Know that the Northern Toys have a few rigs that run larger than 36's. Over at rim rock and other places.. I know the Johnson's 4runner has 38's but they are 12.5 not the 14.5..( not sure what type of wheels tho) I run wagoneer axles with 10x15 (3.25 backspace)wheels and 35 SSR. And I rub the trees with the wheels over at rimrock!!! remember the rubber will slide though...the wheels are the things that stop you....
wheelinjp 10-30-2001, 12:43 PM Dave I called Billy bobs and Kenny said the only people he knows running 38.5s are the 11 in wide ones. I asked all my friends so you are the one that asked and John didnt answer his phone I have no friends I wonder if Les Schwab will give you a chainsaw with the purchase of five 39.5s?
