Just had a question. i bought a 700watt/1500watt max, power inverter for my truck I have a 95 f250 PSD was wondering how would be the best way to hook this inverter up I am looking to hook it up in my pickup bed, do I hard wire it up to my batteries if so what kind of wire would be the best, do i run a third battery setup whats the best way to hook this up to utilize the most power I am not running anything major of this inverter probably some appliances, TV maybe radio etc. Thanks

I have one and I love it. Definately hard wire it to the battery, it should have an on/off switch already, right? I used 12 guage wire because I didn't want it getting too hot, but I probably didn't need wire that thick. You're not exposing the inverter to outside elements are you?
If you plan on using it a lot when the truck is off, I would run a deep cycle battery. You can wire it so the altenator charges it, and so it won't drain the truck battery when used for a long time.
