: Throttle cable 94yj to tbi 350???

what throttle cable will work for a tbi 350 chev in a 94 wrangler?? didnt know if there was one that was a direct fit for this application or if something had to be made up!?

I used the tbi cable with some cable clamps at the pedal to take up slack.

I used the cable out of the donnor chevy truck on my YJ (4.3 TBI) I had to take the plastic piece off of the OEM YJ cable and adapt it to the chevy cable. I just cut a slot for the cable in it, closed the slot with some JB weld, and put a hose clamp around it for insurance. Works like a charm - total investment = $2.00 :smokin:

I just used a Chev truck cable from the mid 80s. I had to modify the plastic with a die grinder a little to fit the square hole in the fwall of the Jeep, but it worked like it was made for the rig otherwise.

I did also put a slight bend in my throttle pedal to make the cable "taut".
