: broken tranny mount

putting my tranny back in on my 85 22r i broke the tranny mount the one the tranny and engine bolt up to.

not only that that after i put it in it would go in to any gear cluch seamed to not work something must of went wrong when i put it back in that i didn't notice.

anyone have any of these mounts laying around?

This isn't that uncommon, especially with the older mounts. Try to get one from '87+, they are a lot beefier and they bolt right up:

yes there is two mounts on the lower part of the bellhousing that bolts to the engine

I think he is talking about the cast angle support bracket from the side of the eng to the bottom of the bellhousing. But i dont know how to fix the prob you have.

I think I have them also.....I never put them back on after the motor swap.

Ive fitted a lot of engines that run those braces and dont usually bother refitting them and have had no probs yet.
