I got a phone call from Kristie, my oldest, late last nite, seems as if she, and her hubbie and Tom Pennington and his wife decided to go down on the Brazos River for some R&R Sunday afternoon. They were out on a sand bar when they noticed the water rising.....fast. Anyway when attempting to cross the river to get out, her FJ40 began to crab sideways with the current, then stalled, luckily they all made it to shore safely. The truck rolled
during winching out to safety. they made it home with it on the trailer around 3 Monday morning.
Damn Kids!!!

That's a bummer man!
I'm always crossing a river near my house.....so far I've not found
my cruisers limit.
Glad everyone is OK.

She probably had one of those "I bet this will piss dad off" moments and had to try it...
She needs some 42s to keep her dry now...right Nolen:flipoff2:

I finished getting the motor dried out this morning. Put the distributor back together, reinstalled the gas tank, filled it back up, and put the plugs back in and it fired right up. It sounds as good as it always did. I just have to change the oil a few more times and it will be ready to go.
Cheers,
