I remember you saying that you had a f250 44 front end, 8 lug. Well my question is what did you do about the ubolt that goes around the diff, and where did you get it. did you have to grind the casting so the ubolt doesnt slid out. I need some help thanks.

No grinding needed at all. Not sure where the U-bolt came from though, someone else got it for me. NAPA should be able to order something similar given the dimensions. Here is a pic. Also, I believe you asked me one time if I had a pic of my current steering setup as well. I'll send you a pic via E-mail.

He was off yesterday for his Bday. There aint a whole lotta grinding on it if any. I think the damn thing near bolted right up although it spread the springs a tad. And I know he got all his Ubolts at Napa. Easy to find.

I actually notched that section with a sawzall and used a regular u-bolt from napa...try and get you pics in the next couple of days...I wasnt confortable doin it like Cochese, didnt want that u-bolt sliding around...it was really easy...just sawzalled up to the axle tube on both sides and knocked the piec out with a hammer and screwdriver.
