Shooting my WASR today actually hurt! It has a decent trigger in it and I have trimmed and polished all of the related parts but am getting painful trigger slap (just ask schmo). Any way to remedy this? Or should I just buy a G2 trigger group?

I don't think it's even worth wasting any time on your trigger group when you can score a Tapco one for less than $30.

Get the Tapco. There's a guy over at ARF who's selling them for less than thirty bucks shipped.

I had also considered welding a strip of metal under and across the back tabs of the trigger and tapping it for an adjustment screw to change the trigger travel. Would this help at all?
