Mike Knorr 10-31-2001, 06:50 AM Ype only certain Dana 30 are the same. XJ's,TJ's, ZJ's and YJ's are all differant. All the old stuff interchanges though. CJ, Scout, Ford bronco Dana 30's all swap back and forth with Dana 44 stuff. But the inner yoke uses a smaller tubing diameter. So the outers will swap but the inner only fit the axle they came off of or at least only the same size tubing. But it is my experience that the 30 and 44's have the same outers, sure there are exceptions, thats why you have to look first. But if they are different, it is clearly obvious. Its not like they would look the same and be an 1/8" off or something. | |
