My aunt's Cherokee is getting coolant in the oil, figuring it is the head gasket but I have not been able to take a look at it yet. is there anything else that it could be?

yeah the heads crack right in the middle of the head, pull the oil fill off the valve cover and take a look inside you can usually see the crack or evidence that there is a crack.

Got to take a look at it. The dipstick was milky but when I drained the oil it was clean... Any ideas? There was some rust on the dipstick and thought that maybe that had something to do with it?

Well, I changed her oil and cleaned the dipstick. Told her to drive i a couple days and bring it back by so I can take another look at it.

Does she drive it much? If the dipstick just looked a little milky and rusty, but nothing in the pan then it's likely condensation. My trail jeep always looks like that since it gets started up and moved a lot but never really warmed up.
