I am gonna finally swap in some 35 spline stubs into my front 60, after 6 years the 30 spline gave out this last weekend, I don't want to use lockouts again so what brand drive flanges are out there and what are the pros and cons to them

I was wondering if you would go to flanges.

by the time I stuff 35 splines in there, it would not leave much meat on the lockouts and then I would be busting them all the time

I think you actually broke your lockout by smashing it on a rock not from torque. Nice rig though.

Polys... You can run it without the drive gear and still run the cover. The machine work is also top notch.

I run the warn drive flanges and they are nice (covers can also be run without the slug in) but they are sometimes hard to remove. it's easy with two flat head screwdrivers and the tire/wheel off, but hard with the tire still on. The poly flanges might be easier to get out since they have holes in them.

I was searching all over for that thread that had that pic, but now that I see it is a Longfield product, I would have passed anyways, Jack would have never forgave me if I ran those especially since I sell his products

Good choice on the stubs, no more wasted weekends because of those things!

I'm gonna buy Woodys 35 spline inners and outers with Yukon super joints so I wont have to do what you did last weekend. I'm going back the weekend after xmas I think, we should plan another ride, eric wants to go and Nick might still be here

good choice on the stubs...i haven't had a problem with mine yet....i wheel mine like a pussy though...hopefully i will have my new fenders and stuff built by then...

Good idea to go with the flanges Richard. We keep busting the 35 spline warn premiums left and right, but the Yukon stubs are holding up well.

BTW I still need to get your spindle boring tool back to you.
