I don't know what the spline count is on the Jeep or Chevy NP208, but I'm sure it's not 10. The AMC bellousing pattern is different from the GM pattern, but otherwise the tranny is the same. What engine are you using? If it's an AMC, I would get a GM TH400 and a GM NP208 transfercase combo, and put all of the guts into your AMC pattern TH400 case. That way, only factory parts are used. BUt the 727 is easier, and cheaper, and probably hte better choice.
