my lil bro is redoing a 49 cj-2a and is wondering if any company makes rocker guards and corner covers for that jeep, everything i find is for ealry cj-5 and newer, any optins sides make our own? thanks for the help

I am in the process of making rocker guards for my CJ2A. I took a bunch of pictures of some Flatfenders at the Sierra Trek. I have used angle iron in the past and have notched it to fit the bend below the door opening. Then drill holes in it to attach to the tub. But, now I have cut off the little steps because of rust and am going to take 1/4" diamond plate and extend it up the fender a few inches and then flush to the body for extra support.
