Quarter inch plate screwed to square stock welded to the frame. Quarter inch angle iron welded to the rocker panels welded to the squarestock if that makes sense

Not much of a tacoma cab here but Bobby Long boat sided Megatoy66's tacoma. Pretty slick if you ask me.

Correct me if I'm wrong but it looks like you didn't cut the cab off below the doors you welded up some 90 degree steel to the bottom? Why did you add the square stock to the bottom of the frame?

It appears that the cab is still mounted through bushings but the boat sides are welded to the cab and the frame.

Think this might cause any problems down the road?

The 90 degree is welded directly to the cab. I dont think it will be a problem as the truck is getting truggified and will be mostly tube soon. Slider tubes are actually going to be welded to the 90 degree that will in turn be welded to the full exo. The square stock on the bottom of the frame will allow me to drop my full flat skid below the t-case. Ill loose a little ground clearance but with 40's Im not too worried!
