No, but you can scrap it for beer money so you can drink when you get a decent frontend

id say yes. depending on exactly what your building. im running 10 bolts front and back under a gutted 93 s10 with 33 a/t tires. been running it all spring and summer. no problems yet.

ten bolt is very underestimated in my opinion. i even ran them under fullsized chevys and 38s for many years, just have to take it easy

they are alright but they will break very easy if you try to thrash them and it always seems to happen in the worst times. I would look for a dana 60 and 14 bolt in the mean time.

is there any problem converting a Chevy 10 bolt to crossover steering?

It looks like the knuckles are the same as a Dana 44... or at least that is what I was told.

Can I put the Dana 44 flat top knuckles on a Chevy 10 bolt?

Should I do the pair?

This site says no way: http://77cj.littlekeylime.com/flatop_knucles.html

"Picture of a Chevy 10 bolt axle. This axle has a driver side flat top knuckle with a steering arm. However No10 bolt axle ever came with a passenger side flat top knuckle! Since you want to keep knuckle paired together avoid this axle. It a Camber, Caster, Ackerman angle, scrub radius thing, Mr. N says "Just keep your knuckles paired up."

keep the knuckles paired up... run the FREE 10 bolt in your "mild" rig. People run half ton stuff all the time with success. If you've got the money...60..if not run the 10 bolt till you outgrow it!
