If you are talking about a warn 8000I then I believe the longest should be 100 feet

I would replace the old stuff. I am on my 5th cable so far. I dont trust the extentions with my life...

I dont like the idea of the cable clamp having to go around the spool.

What the hell they are only $40.00 total for aircraft quality wire rope.

hey sharp, that seems like alot of work to have such a little down tube/ down steel on your custom cage...
Why did you do all that and not have a heavy base to build off of?

heck that is the most important part in my opinion!

bert, the bolts are mainly to line things up, the rest is welded, i didn't want the cage to be in the way all the time thats why it's the same principle as the OR fab and rockhard cage, also the plating on the side is 1/4" angle iron which should hold,
i know i'm not as hard core as most on the board, and i don't roll on every second outting, so i think it'll work for me.

Ok, from the pics it was hard to tell how thick that stuff is.

I like my cage... check out my homepage to see it.
Essentially off road. tied into the frame. and welded by one serious welder.... not me...:D

yeah i made the cage myself, it's 1.75" .120 wall DOM and the side plate is 1/4" angle with the floor mount that is 3/16" plate.
i'll take a look at yours.

I still have to get some new pics of the cage up close and the tie in. Been too busy lately to play on the computer...
