Looking for opinions on who makes the best hubs.
Please vote and post your info here.
Right now I'm running two different Warn Premiums. The guy I bought the truck from gave me a used hub for it he had from where he'd blown one before and put in 2 new ones. I blew one and stuck the used one in a couple weeks ago. I want to buy a new set and put these in the toolbox for extras since they seem like a pretty common item to go out on my truck.

Hey Kevin, I got the premium Warn's. We'll see how they do at the roundup in Sept. I picked them because I'd heard they were the best, were all metal, and because they were readily available, didn't have to order em.

I have been running the Warn gold for a couple years. No problem. And these were used ones I stoled off of a parts rig.I blew both of the superwinch hubs I had.Never tried the Pro comps. The wifes Sub has the cheaper warn hubs and has had no problems either.Of course this isn't used for wheeling.

I have the mile marker hubs been on the truck for 4 years all metal and easily serviced the only thing i broke on them was the metal peice that engages the gear on the axle shaft but I did it while cleaning them called mile marker and they sent out 2 new ones no questions asked for free.

On the one I broke...there's a brass bushing pressed into the back that holds in a spring that holds the lock sleeve up when the hub is in free and that brass bushing broke and there were all these little metal pieces and shavings inside and to remove that hub I had to actually scrape burrs off the end of the axle shaft. I haven't had any problems with the "new" one so far and I've actually done a lot more with the truck since I put it in. Fortunately where I wheel you can get into and out of in 2WD and need only engage 4WD when challenging the obstacles or playing in the mud. I appreciate all the quick input!

I wouldent know from experience but my dad has told me over and over about all the different brands of hubs he blew up the first few years he had his truck then bought the warn golds and has been running them truble free for over five years. Ive had the truck for almost a year now and havent had the slightest problem.

Where is the option for mile marker? Both the mile marker and the warn hubs are good hubs. I have broken more of the warn hubs than the mile marker but I never had the mile marker on my 10 bolt which is where I broke all my warn premium hubs. If the procomp hubs are anything like the rest of the shit that 4 wheel parts wholesalers sells I am sure they are a piece of shit.....

FInally someone said it!!!!!
SPICER by a huge margin.
I personally have never seen one break and they can easily be broached for 35 spline stubs. Not brass, not plastic but good old STEEL.
