I plan to buy a wiring system from Painless or the others, so what do I save from the donor? Do I save the brain? Anything. I'm lifting the body off tmrw.

Just incase others were looking, I searched F-toy wiring here on the BBS only to find a lot of confusion. It's been mentioned a couple of times but I had missed the instructions of what to save/cut out of the donor. Just incase others are looking; try www.offroadsolutions.com . This will be my dirrection unless someone has a suggestion. Basically the donor body is ready to lift (4runner so I need some mussle) off of the chassis.

Your most common choices are Off road Solutions and SDS Fuel Management System.

With the ORS harness you can go as simple or as complex as you wish. I am using the donor computer and engine harness. Everything else was built by ORS to be plug and play...down to the e-lockers, lights, and even winch controls.
