what do ya think, i found a 9" out of a 70 torino for cheap, ok free, what do ya think? think i'll work for the heep???

If it's anything like the Lincoln continental rear end It's good.
Lincold has disk brakes heavy housing and big bearing ends.

I have heard that the truck axles are alot stronger then the car ones, maybe a differnt spline?

It would have drums, probably small housing and small bearing and 28 spline but I'm not sure. On the other hand on the 9" you can change all of that and the price is right. <IMG SRC="smilies/thefinger.gif" border="0">
