: Where to go from here

What mod would be most beneficial to me at this point to further me in my offroad capabilities while still retaining the DD ability. Heres my current truck.

31s, IFS lift, rear locker, engine work

I was thinking either transfer case gears (4.7), larger tires, or the traditional save up for SAS. Hopefully I am not beating a dead horse, just trying to get better performance. Thanks, Tom

Transfer case gears will make a world of difference. You won't know how you lived without them.

you say transfer case gears so i guess you are looking at around $500?


i personal would lean towards a 2-3 inch body lift and 33's. but that said i would also put alot of thought into gears.

I just put in 4.7 to 1 transfercase gears and was VERY happy with the results, I am running 33's on the street with 4.10 still and am not real thrilled with the get up and go but it does, just slowly, so if you go with bigger tires I would get gears or with the 31's I would go with the transfer case.

go with the t-case gears and wheel with what ya got. dont waste any money on the ifs. Save up for the sas. just my .02
