because of the geometry i am stuck using HP44's, so i'm stranded @ 5.38's whick mean's i have to coin up for some 6:1's to stay in the crawl ratio i want (175:1 area)

here's the scary part... i just found out i've got 2 more event's besides the fall calROCS this year and am going to need the buggy done by then :(

anyone wanna donate :flipoff2:

ahh you pay attention well zak :D

3.62 x 1.8 x 5.89 x 5.38 = 206.4

3.62 x 1.8 x 4.86 x 5.38 = 170.3

so the back box will either be a GRS II or a variation of the 6:1

well i'd sure like to, but since they're shit is to good to sell i'm not sure what i'll do...

i tried for 4 months straight to order an adapter for a toyota and they wouldn't return calls or e-mails, so to start with i'll use an adapter plate and a stock zuk tranny until i cna find a way to make it work or they decide to actually sell shit!

ahhhh stop your whinnin:flipoff2: I thought that my 94:1 worked alright, of course lower would be nice. Do you already have the t-case gears dave?

DSI

nope, have actually debated taking the handicap and running a set of 4.16's and playing around @ 146:1 since a GRS II and 6:1's are twice the cost :D

Ha..

Come back when you guys can crawl like a Man....

Now -- 3.652 X 3.29 X 4.15 X 5.89 = 293.69 to 1

When it arrives -- 3.652 X 3.29 X 6.129 X 5.89 = 433.74 to 1

3.29 = Tim Hardy Under Drive

Rude Zuk Keep trying the Tim route -- Long wait but worth it

Crawl like a man??

In my book, that means that the "others" can't crawl.....
SOOOOoooooo That sounds like a "call out'...

Correct me if I'm wrong, but do you really think you could take my "brown boy" FatKid in his 80:1 rig??

If so, please call (760) 446-2292 so we can make arrangments to come stomp a "mud hole in ya" :flipoff2:

why wait for an OTT adapter ??
its easy enough to do yourself .. if you can get someone to weld aluminum. Open up the sidekick T/case remove the drive chain, Cut the front output of the sidekick T/case have a tabs welded onto the now naked halves . and make up a cover plate to bolt onto the tabs .. and your done .. bugger spending US$455 plus core to get the job done .. ig you wnat to go really stupid low .. get some 4:1 gears in the kick tcase as well .. so that would be 3.65x4.whatever X 6.whatever X 5.3 or so .. 464:1 .. low geras in anyones language ..

Just checking back on the board and saw the responses... WOW guess I picked open a sore.... Several were spewing about crawl ratio prowness and wanted to throw my 2 cents in...

I am always up for great wheeling and BIG ROCKS.. No Fear.....I live 45 mins from the paved trail called the Rubicon. (Seems like a world away from the Hammers). Would have been at SOR with Phatty, and the rest but was at Sierra Trek doing Medical Support. I look forward to doing the Comps in the future instead of Medical. So for now I can play before and after the CalRocs Comps at the sites. Lets play.

Will be on the Con Labor Day Weekend. Running the Box. On 4th of July Weekend those that were there Sat at the box saw me running the left side up the wall and over the big rock in the center. When I get home in a few hours (At my inlaws now) will post pics. if needed.

Love to wheel hard I have a habit of saying I'll follow you then you follow me. I am not afraid of getting my as#$ kicked wheeling cuz then I learn. I will admit I do not know it all about wheeling or I would be up there with Shaffer. Since I don't compete I'll shut up and wheel with anyone....

As for meeting you guys Sept 20th that is the weekend before the last CalRocs and will be getting ready so can't make it. Not a cop out just reality.

Lets Wheel
