I went last Sunday for the first time. friggin awesome!!!!! criused suprise canyon to the camp then hiked a few miles. I went up another canyon that had a gate with a keep out sign. I will be going back real soon :smokin:

Not sure how far I hiked (old guy short legs) its cool to see what these people build for mining out of what they had on hand. I will be going back soon to check out south park canyon. the 2nd canyon I drove w/the active mine had a side road that went down the canyon wall into I think pleasant canyon it was a well traveled road but the road down the canyon wall was rougher then I wanted to try by myself.
