okay what do you all think is the best premix and why?


i run HP2,(honda brand) because i get it cheap with my racer discount and it's a good qualitey synthetic.

and i love the smell of blendsall too.

i used maximum castor in my old bike but i use golden spectro in my new bike, i havent had any problems with it

i use the bel ray synthetic cant say its the best but i havent hadd any problems so i guess im happy with it 36:1 or 40:1 when racing

now with the maxxium or what ever it is i seized a few pistons and it was the good stuff at 32:1 so no good luck there

next bike im trying amsoil oh ya and golden spectra back in the day :D

Yamalube no matter what i will not run another brand of premix, though from what ive been told it is fairly similar to HP2. If all the riders use it it has to be good right :D

damn it's been a while. 1985-1990 I was all about golden spectro. then everyone (east coast) was useing maxima 927 castor and I liked the smell so it was onto that...but I haven't bought premix since '95. and the last bit of it I had 2 years ago i used in the weedwhacker :D smelled good still :) not sure what I'll run now but my new bike has always been run on champion water pumper 2. doesn't smell especially cool. but it still runs so that must mean something :D

nono! 7 years since I bought premix. I just had a bottle for 5 years then 2 years ago I put it in the weedwhacker :D

I'm about to go buy some premix today. and a new helmet....and CHAINLUBE!!!!!! Muahahhaahhahahhaha I'm back baby!

theres nothing better then being out of it for awhile then getting back in and getting the high off of some good oil i miss that

okay another Q.

my buddy and i always argue about this one.

do you pour the premix in the can and then pump in the gas, or vise versa.

i say the premix first, cause it mixes better. my buddy says the gas first cause the premix sticks to the bottom of the gas can.

i dont think it matters either way cause by the time i get to where im going its good and shook up but

i do put the oil in first, and at races i see people mix the fuel and the oil just right for what they need to complete the race exact amount and all i think thats a bit to anal but hey what ever they think it takes to win:D

I say just do it whatever way gets the oil in. If I put the oil in first then I know I will never forget it. I run and about 4 others in the club run TCW3 outboard motor oil @40-1 for about $5-6 pr gal. We are "A" enduro riders and have never had a motor problem and they run just as long between rebuilds as everyone elses. With the amount I save on oil the topend rebuild is free compaired to what the other guys have spent on oil all the time. I am not saying it is the best it is just what I use. Picking the best pre-mix is like asking what is the best motor oil.

are you riding the Jack hammer enduro? i usually work it.

I like klotz supertechniplate, I have a gallon of it at the house HAHA I love the way it smells, and I think it protects the motor very well I learned my lesson the hard way w/ the cheap weedwhacker crap.
