I bought a T-19 wide that I noticed didn't have a nut or washer holding the bull gear on.
Anyone know of where I can get a replacement? Or should any nut and washer work?

try a transmission shop, all the ones i've seen, there normally smaller profile than a regular nut and fine thread to.i think.wouldn't find one at a local hardware store.maybe a good autoparts store.start with size and thread count and search from there

It's a deformed thread nut. Don't use a regular nut unless you want to drop the nut inside your t-case and :nuke: some shit.

The only thing in my manual says is:
hex nut 3/8 x 1
hex nut 3/8 x 1-7/8
Nothing on the parts mike site....guess I'll be making a lot of calls tomorrow. Thanks guys.

Yeah... like a stover nut. The nut is deformed after it's threaded so the hole is kind of ovaled. It's a type of locking nut.

 That's my picture.... from my T19 gear swap thread. It's the same thing as a pinion nut. Just get a pinion nut that's the right thread and pitch.

Alright thanks.
Hey Mechanos,
Is that a stock nut or did you pick it up from somewhere?

I called up Jeff at IH ONLY NORTH.
I think he is sending me a nut and washer from a junk trans.

I was thinking it was the same nut as the output of an np205 uses.
