Fairly new to all this, trying to get my TJ where I want it.

I just bought a D60 out of an E-250 Ford van. Now I'm curious as to about how much clearance will I lose under the pumpkin given the same size tires? How much of this can be shaved?

Thanks, this will help me decide how big of a tire I will need to run.

shit not worth mentioning really. you can grind of a bit off the bottom before you put it on. that's what i did. my 60 had a lip that would grab shit so i ground it off after i already installed it---------easier to do while off:flipoff2:

so you still have the 30 up front? what size tires are you running now? what gears in the axles? what gears in the t-case?

Still running the stock D30/D44 axles with chromoly shafts, 4.88's, NP231, on 35's.

When funds allow, will look for a 60 for the front and install them both at the same time. I'm thinking a Teralow 4:1 kit, and 37" Iroks.

ah well if you are gonna do both 60's at the same time i would skip the 37's and hit 39's or 40's. :flipoff2:
