hi i am building a Dana 60 for the front of my 4runner.
i converted it to 6 bolt
i was assembling it tonight and the wheel bearing wont tighten up
the nut runs out of thread.
obviously i have the right spindle,
but i am thinking i may have ford wheel hubs.
i read the bellevista pirate write up and cant find anyhing about it
can anyone tell me the problem??
thanks

Is there a washer/ring behind the spindle nut?

no, but i pushed the bearing in as far as it will go with my fingers, the bearing is hitting the shoulder

what shoulder?
the rar bear hits a shoulder for the seal but the outer shouldnt hit any thing because it is designed to be free floating so you can pre load the bearing.
i wounder if you have the right bearings, or as you think hubs. get the pn off of the hub and look it up in the d60 bible.

there is a difference in major parts of the ford d60's.
the spindles, hubs, knuckles and stubs are all different from chevy and dodge[they match each other]
typos, it should have said rear bearing not rar bear:emb:
