they arent horribly expensive either! about $8000 for a complete body, frame, and spaceframe, you add the drivetrain!
I would much rather have Fords new concept vehicle. That one looks like a Suzuki teenage blonde ditz mobile. :rainbow:

Funny...When I first jumped into the LR scene I was in lust with those vehicles...Great approach, easy/straight body-pannels etc. Now I just think it looks like a typical ute with a few bolt on's.
Change is good (I think!)...

this one belongs to Andy Marshallsy, a mate of mine, it's got a 200Tdi in it, and soon to have ARB's front and back. the dash is taken straight out of a 90/110 with all the running gear too. tubular chassis, but where my 90, fully loaded, weight 2400kg, this thing weighs in at 1800kg.
i've been out wheeling with him too, it goes pretty well, pretty much the same external size a 90.

Looks like a cross between a 90's yj and a sammy. Not that it's a bad look.....
Imagine the bumber sticker: It's not a jeep, rover, suzuki, patrol, etc. etc. etc....
