godyilla 12-07-2008, 04:39 PM I need help, i am trying to convert my 465 tranny from a non-hydro lever action frame mounted clutch to a tranny mounted hydraulic clutch. I need to find out what is the longest stroke slave cylinder that i could use. Burt4x4 12-08-2008, 09:46 AM In order to use a GM slave you need the GM bell w/ the mount. I used an 80 Toyota LandCruzer slave on my factoy cast bell (72) w/ a slave bracket made by Advance Adapter, works great! http://www.norcalbigdawgs.net/Gallery/albums/CLUTCH/P1010126.sized.jpg http://www.norcalbigdawgs.net/Gallery/albums/CLUTCH/P1010127.sized.jpg As you can see the bracket simply bolts on using the bell bolts. Bleeding the system was harder than seting up the hardware! | |
