My old carburetor throttle cable is now to short to reach the bracket on the valve cover. What did you guys do for a cable?

I made a new bracket and used the stock cable.

I had a cable for a caburator originally. After I realized I needed a longer cable I pulled one off of a EFI motor (they're longer) and made a bracket.

I stole the brake cable off my bmx bike, it worked fine for as long as I had the rig.

I had three factory Toyota throttle cables in my parts pile and every one of them was a different length. Hit the junk yard with a tape measure.
