harley_sr 08-14-2002, 09:25 PM Here the deal. I want to put Waggy Springs on the front of My 84 Toyota. What will I need to do this?? I am doing the rear chevy spring swap right now, will finish tomorrow, out og gas for the mig. :D :D
Or is thier another spring that will swap in place fairly easy, that will give about same flex, and ride. I am dealing with Stock 5 leaf waggy springs.. Thanks for help... :D
Ben Holloway 08-14-2002, 09:32 PM nothin at all they bolt right in, you might need a drop hanger to get the lift you want but just bolt them up and see how much lift you get if any and for the record i would gett the 7 leaf waggy packs they seem to do a little better, im not sure what they come off of but the 89 waggy we de axled had them and i think it was a grand wagoneer

Wilson 08-14-2002, 10:06 PM The waggy's will probably be the easiest, but rear wrangler springs work pretty well too. Here's mine when it ahd 2.5" wranglers, chevy's w/ a buggy and my laterally folding shackle setup. I'm now running rear F150's and they kick ass.

Cool yeah I ment 7 leaf, I counted them this morning, and thats what they are. is that what you are running?? Is so send me a pic. of the set up. My histeer arms wil be here tomorrow. :D :D
pickeledpigsfeet 08-15-2002, 07:05 AM send me some pics when you get done. Today I am bolting up my 7 leaf stock waggys on my 88 sas and i would like to compare. Are you using the stock bushings, were you able to press out the metal sleeves without wasting the bushings? I ended up burning them out and getting replacements. My chevies are sitting on the ground waiting for me to finish the front:D
Gawd I love pick n pull!

Wilson 08-15-2002, 11:44 PM here's the shackle, doin its thing.
4runner 08-16-2002, 06:47 AM HEY WILSON...
Do you get much sway on the road with that silly shackle?
Or is it driven on the street?
Is that home-made or someones production shackle?
If it is produstion, what did the set cost?
Looks cool and obviously works, just curious.....
