A bear ate all my food last thusday at the little sluice. Then he crawled in my samy to find more. moral- stay out of the trees. And dont feed the bear any beer. Cause he will start stealing the beer too.

kinda related: a pig(wild bore) tried to steel my ice chest while i was camping in hollister hills ohv park. i woke up to see a white thing being drug up a hill...i was too tired/drunk to deal with it so i just yelled at it. in the morning my friends didn't believe me untill they saw the bite marks on one of the handles.

My uncles had a bear get into their ice chest while they were sleeping in our hunting cabin. After they woke up and cleaned up the mess, gathered all the remaining scraps and misc junk the bear scattered around, they sandwiched it all between two milk crates, and tied them to my Uncle Terry's foot with a long rope. A few hours went by and the bear came back to see what he left behind, and began to tug on the milk crates. :D Terry was supposed to quietly wake the rest of the guys up so that they could shoot the bear before it ran away. (It was bear season) Of course, all my uncles pretended to not hear Terry. Pretty soon the Bear got agrivated at the milk crates and started to tug them hard enough to pull my uncle right out of his bunk!:D That was when they all got up ended up scaring the bear away. By the way, terry was about 14 at the time and the rest were in their 20's. To this day, every time I see Terry I make him tell that story. Always good for a laugh. :p
