I test fit my flipped D300 last night and it seems to be working out great. I know it's not an Atlas but it cost a hell of a lot less.
Everything seemed to bolt up as promised. I had to cut a bit of floor because my raised driveline put it's vent fitting up into the floor. Also my driveline is a bit shorter then stock so the shifter hole didn't line up as good as it could have.
The kit worked great, it included everything and had good instructions. There are a couple of things I may do different if I ever do it again but on the whole it went together very easy. I think it is a big improvement over a 231 or other NP case. I now have a shorter driveline, real 2 low, twin sticks, iron case and all gears and I can get a cheaper 4:1 kit.
FWIW, I don't really thingk the 231 is *that* weak but I think I was pushing it a little to hard, I was having problems with the planetary gears and chain stretch.
I will post some pics as soon as I can find the damn cable for the digi-cam
Now all I have to do is get rid of this pounding headache and get motivated enough to go measure for drive shafts and get on the phone.....I think I'm allergic to
