My rotors are in need of replacement, and I was wondering what vented rotors will fit. The application is a 78 fj40. And yes I did a search:p

You should have vented rotors already on a '78...If not you will need to firgure out whether you have bolt on rotors or one held on by lug studs. If they are bolted on by 6 bolts, get '78 land cruiser rotors from CCOT. If they are held on by the lug studs pressed through the rotor(and two small bolts) get a set for an FJ60. Then you will need IFS calipers. Get v-6 ones, they have bigger pistons...

Krusty's advice is fine if you have a converted front end using mini truck components.... Stock 78 should be vented.

Yeah, mine were vented on my 78 front end -- I "owned" one :D
