Hey. I did the search and nothing came up so here it goes.
I am doing a motor swap in my Dakota. i am swaping out the 3.9L for a 318. Has anybody done one or know someone that has.
I have heard that the 3.9 is the 318 with 2 front cyls cut off.
( info right? ) Any tips or info would be great.

They use the same tranny but your engine mounts will probably need to be relocated due to differences in block length..

i know someone who did this swap, oh ya its chrysler:flipoff2: i think if you pick up the v-8 mounts from a recycler, the frame should already be set up for the brackets.;)
