I'm having a set of hangers fabricated by a guy in another state, but I need a measurement for him before he can start. I'd measure myself, but the truck is 3 hours away at my uncle's shop.

So how wide does the pocket need to be for a set of Superlift 12" Chevy front springs? My searches have resulted in conflicting answers anywhere between 3" and 3-5/8".
