Absolutely killer Zuk !!!

Did you fab the pinion brakes or buy a kit? If you made 'em, what rotor and caliper did you use?

Also, can you take a picture showing what kind of clearance you have for the front dif / drive shaft?

When it flexes, how far do the tires go into the wheelwells?

The pinion brakes are made up of '87 Mazda B2000 rotors with IFS Toyota truck 4-piston caliper. If you don't want to run a vented rotor, a straight axle truck brake is designed for non-vented and is still 4 piston.

I can take one tomorrow, it's already dark. It has plenty of clearance because it is way out in front of the motor, more under the radiator.

It doesn't really get to the fenderwells because the truck is so narrow.

Man I really like that design. I think I'm going to "borrow" it if you don't mind except plate between the axle tubes and pipes coming down on the side and bolt them together. Check out my crude drawing. Hard to tell, but does your caliper bracket come off of that back tube coming down?? Great design. Your sammi kicks ass man. I wish I could meet up with you and bigdude and everybody else to check it out in person, but I just got back from Tellico last Sunday, so I got some stuff to fix!!

Forgot the pic. Red plate will be welded to the tube and green plate to the axle.

I thought about that when I did it, but I figured I can get that off with a portaband faster than I could unbolt it, then just weld it back on. Plus I plan on putting a front in the back sometime soon, I was just in a hurry to get it running.
You can't see it in the picture, but the middle bar is bolted on under two of the bolts that hold the chunk in.

No, it's not on the tube, it's actually a piece of angle behind the caliper.
