I want a 4" lift on my F250, but have no clue where to get it from. Can anyone help me out here. It is a 91 F250 diesel. I want to know who has the ebst price on any kit.

There's an F250 here locally that has a Skyjacker kit on it. Looks pretty good IMO.

But if you're gonna go to the trouble of installing pivot drop brackets I still vote SAS :flipoff2:

Honestly I doubt many people have ever shopped extensively for a D50 TTB lift kit. But if Rancho offers one, I'd go that route. Their drop brackets for 1/2 tons have always impressed me, plus they use backing plates to sandwich the xmember.

I know Tuff Country offers a kit, one of the mags did a write-up on it a few years back. I'd be real concerned about ride quality tho, esp if any of them try to use a front add-a-leaf.

Keep an eye on eBay. I just nabbed this D50 drop bracket a couple days ago-

I had a Rancho kit on my Ranger once. It had the "sandwiched" bracket for the one side. It cracked in two years use (along with 2 driverside radius arms, and two other frame brackets).
Rancho is junk, like most TTB kits.

One company had a solid one-piece integral welded center bracket to mount BOTH axlebeams on the F-250. I can't recall which one it was. I'm thinking Skyjacker, as they're about the only ones with decent TTB kits.

Yeah, I remember seeing that too. Yep, looks like it was Skyjacker.

If you're lucky they'll still send you some Bible-banger literature with the kit, too

FWIW the Rancho kits hold up better on full-size 1/2 tons from what I've seen, and they're incredible about warranty service.

The last Sky. kit I got for a buddy didn't have that bible shit. The back page of the instruction leaflet was blank. I think they may have wised up.

I waited over a month to get a replacement radius arm from Rancho. They were less than 40 miles from me at the time in Long Beach. I wasn't too impressed. I haven't had to deal with Skyjacker's warranty yet. Don't know how good they are. Nothing's broken yet.

That be the one!

I have a 90 Full size Bronco with the front TTB and I got a decent 4 inch lift from www.roughcountry.com. They were the absolute cheapest. About $300 bucks cheaper than anyone else. And still got all the parts everyone else offered in there kits.
