We have a Bewo cold cut saw at work that in the last 4 months has broken 3 blades and in the last month the bolt holding the blade tight keeps backing out. Any ideas on why the blades could be breaking and the main bolt loosening? The bolt was tight when the blades broke. Just reciently has the bolt started to loosen up when cutting.

Nobody really knows how old this thing is....Its just always been there working with a new/sharpened blade thrown on and cutting fluid changed as needed. It spends the majority of its life cutting 16, 18, or 20ga box tubing ranging from .75" to 2" and 1.5" schedule 40 pipe.

So what say the PBB tool masters?

Bent shaft? Worn bushings? I would mount a fresh blade, tighten it up, and check runout and axial slop with a dial indicator. Sounds like something's causing the blade to wobble.
