I'm doing a full size axle swap on my 85 cj7. I Was told that i could find a dana 60 front and a 14 bolt rear on a older 3/4 ton suburban. Could someone tell me what year model has the 60 front and 14 rear and what to look for.

No Suburbans were ever factory 1tons. Hence the 3/4ton label. Look for a true one ton and D60 front.

Any 1977-87 GM K30 truck will have the Dana 60 and 14 bolt you are looking for.
Any 1984-88 CUCV M1008 military truck will have the Dana 60 and 14 bolt, the 14 bolt comes with factory Detroit locker.
Now 14 bolts (the 10.5 inch variety) can be sourced from multiple 3/4 ton 2wd and 4wd suburbans and trucks.
As well as most GM school vans aka the "short bus", GM bread trucks and passenger vans all contain 14 bolts.

What axle comes in bread trucks? I know it's a 14 bolt but what configuration? I got asked by a buddy today because he knows a guy trying to replace that axle and a DRW axle supposedly had the tires sticking out too far

seen a few grumman bread vans with dana 70 1-su rears, cant remember if they were all ford chassis though. strange axles, 73" wide with a 3" offset center.
