Anyone breaking AX-15's?

I just ordered a Atlas and some local guys have said that I wasted my money and my AX-15 will break b/c it is now the weakest link in the driveline.

They said I would have been better off buying a NV4500 w/ my cash; the 231 w/ HD output shaft (which I have)is strong enough.

I don't necessarly buy it..I'm more worried about everything past the T-Case, it now carries the largest amounts of touque.

I havent broke mine yet.I dont have an atlas but, I would think it would hold up to a 6cyl or 4cyl,even with an Atlas case on it..

Think about it same power in same power out different power coming out of t-case... You can upgrade to an NVXX00 later and should still be able to use your atlas...

Break an AX15, no.
Tear one apart, shift by shift, yes.
What a POS.

Those front u-joints with the boggers will go first.
