Any tricks?

I was on my way to bolt the t-case to the trans but the gears didn't want to mesh and it looks the the shifter support on the t-case will get in the way when trying to line up the bolt holes.

I'm sure i have the right bull gear and I'm sure it's on the right way.

Are there different adapters for the t-19 to dana 20? Is there a spacer that I am not aware of?

:shaking: Am I just retarded?

Your just retarded.:flipoff2: Where did the bull gear come from? Pull the bull gear and make sure it will mesh with the t-case.

Yeah I did and it goes in and lines up fine. I got the bull gear with the trans when I bought it.

Is there only one adapter for the t-19 to Dana 20? I've been searching for a long time.

Is there any room between the t-case shifter support and the case of the t-19? Cause it looks like the shifter support will be in the way.

You sure its a 19 and a 20? You have the adapter on right?if I remember right, the shifter BS on the 20 practically touches the trans case. Could be wrong though.

Depending on where the tcase came from you may need to grind off a little of the shifter pivot casting to get it to fit.

Make sure it's a Scout 20 and not a Jeep 20. Also you have to line up the shift collar which is loose in the t-case to the smaller teeth of the bull gear. It can be a pain to line up.

I had a Dana 20 meant for a t-18.

So I had to grind off a 1/4" from the shifter support to fit it on the t-19. Thanks for the help.
