Dana 21 Transfer Case with a NP435 adapter
Just pulled from a drivable ’73 Ford working just fine.
The 21 is a cast-iron gear-driven unit, and all it does is engage and disengage the front drive shaft. There is no neutral, only '2WD' and '4WD' with a 1:1 ratio. (It is not a Dana 20)
Where used:
In Jeeps: The FSJ Wagoneer and the J100 (1962-1965) Gladiator with Borg-Warner automatics.
In Fords: All '62-'72 F100 4x4s 4-spds (usually an NP435) and '73 6-cyl./4-spds.
Asking: bottle of Southern Comfort, obo.
