I got a 79CJ7, it came to me as a sun-peeled sky blue, and then i herculined the entire outside of it(excluding the top) and i am kinda torn between having it sprayed 1 of 3 colors...1)Elanor pepper grey& black pin stripes 2) Bright candy apple red (like an old shelby) 3) A pewter, thats on the 08 wrangler?....and yes it might seem like a fag ass question, but i do give a shit what mine looks like.

ive always liked that cooper red/orangish color that came on he TJ/XJ lineup at one point..i aroun 00-02 maybe later.. if i were to paint mine up to look good id do that..bu tsince ill be painting it to then destroy it, some duplicolor ina can shit will be my route

Ok I'll bite: If I was going for a nice looking rig, I think the gray with black racing stripes sound good. I was going to do that to my first car(1978 Datsun 280Z) Plan was, flat grey primer with flat black primer race stripes, then 3 clear coats.

Silver, grey, pewter, hides dirt, stripes, dents pretty well.

I know Im getn some flack for for the "mall crawler" paint job; but it is a DD/project as of now, but one day, when i have ALOT more money, it will be a crawler only with some rockwells and 47" shoes. so in the mean time, i would like it to look nice. :massey::mr-t:

I'm not generally a big fan of reds but that Chili Pepper color they had several years back was nice. If mine weren't gonna get pinstriped to hell out here I'd probably go with that.
