Just bought some kerosene for the shop heater as its getting cold in the shop lol. Whew its now $4.99/gallon! Last time I bought some it was $3.49 as I recall so it must have been a year or so ago maybe. Well it got me to thinking maybe I should be heating the shop up with propane since it is way cheaper? So anyone know the btu's/cost to run between propane and kerosene? Any place else I can get kerosene cheaper? I only know of two Rotten Robbie dealer ships that sell kerosene in San Jose. I believe its more at OSH but I'll check with Home Depot.
