So Im doing my D60 swap in my 80 Bronco...

I call around, only 1 junkyard has the hangers and shackles for the front leafs..

They wanted $350 for the parts at Al's Truck parts..!!! uhh, yeah, just the damn hangers and shackles..

Ford is still $250 for everything, good freakin gawd:eek:

Needless to say, I didnt bite...

I know someone has a set of these laying around, right:rolleyes: , ?

Chad, how are you gonna do this? Stock Ford w/the shackle up front or do you want to move the shackle to the rear?

If you're gonna do the latter you need a front/front hanger from a '77ish F250 (when Ford was still putting the shackle at the rear) and a front/rear hanger from an '80-97 F250 or 350.

Might be easier to just build the front/front hanger, it's not very complicated.

If you want to use the newer style with the shackles up front, I'll be visiting some dude in CO who has a set of front frame horn lying around, with shackles and all.
You might want to talk to Kurt, he should still have the front spring hangers off the D-60 he put under his Bronco since he ended up building a custom front crossmember with spring mounts built in.
