I took the family and the stinkin' boyfriends christmas tree cutting.

They insisted on taking the Scout, even though it doesn't have the top on. 26° and 50 mph...

Didn't Wheel

Me neither.

I did truss my rear axle, but for some reason I couldn't weld for shit. Had a lot of porosity. Looks like I'll be grinding it out and borrowing a mig welder. :(

Also disabled the governor on the go kart. Now I need a billet flywheel so I don't explode the stock one. I might as well throw in a rod and a cam while I'm in there. :grinpimp:

christmas tree shoppin,b-day present for the misses, cut up some large drive shafts i had around for the yokes and slip so i can build my new ones.started mockin up 800 dash.gonna be fiberglass with aluminum inserts for the gauges, trophy truck style.on a 14bolt 1350 joint with the straps is there a way to drill out and use u-bolts? or do you have to do the upgrade yoke that's offered.would like to just drill and use but havin a hard time searchin for the correct u-bolts to use.think they have to be longer for use on that yoke.other than that 80 degrees here today, friggin hot!

Shopped...

Got my son a XBox 360 with Halo3 and a few other must have games, I can't wait to play it LOL... My wife wanted car stuff for her Audi  So I bought her new HID's with 12,000* bulbs for that cool euro look..

Scout related: bought one of those Summit 28,000 BTU heaters... Hope it takes the edge off while snow wheelin'. As you guys know I don't have doors or a windsheild, so it's been cold wheelin' for a few years now.

Swapped a 727 in my brothers scout. 90% done with a power steering swap.

Fixed a flat on my Scout - Thanks Saftey Seal plugs and tire slime! Now I just need to pull on of the other wheels apart and fix the leaking beadlock....

Went to the beach to see some friends before they move to New Mexico. Drank a few  's. Woke up to snow falling on the beach. You don't see that every day in Oregon.

But, now it is too freakin' cold at home to work in the garage.... :mad3::mad3: And it is so feakin' icy schools have already been cancelled for Tuesday.

Rode bitch with Fugly on a toys for tots run at KS Rocks. He really had to work a lot harder than usual since we did most everything in 2WD. Seems his front locker decided to become a front unlocker.

Sun. it was 60° at about 10:00am. That dropped to the teens by early afternoon and by late evening it was 4°.

I stayed at the GF's place Sun. night and woke up to a gelled up CTD Mon. morning. Had to call around and get a ride to the store for some Diesel 911, then over to my place to pick up my genny, forced air propane heater, battery charger (just in case) and a few tools. Then back over the GF's and began thawing out my truck. Finally got the bitch started at about 2:00pm. The high today was only something like 12° or 13°.

Nothing out door related high this weekend -14 low -30. My St Bernerd Gracy had puppies in the barn Saturday night then spent the weekend warming the pups and trying not to over heat Gracy (she likes below zero weather)

Did you know there is a couple 100 people on the waiting list for the 08 TTC video here in the Denver 4WPs store?

I'll never get one. :homer:

you can order one from the call center and they will ship it to your house when it becomes available. I had the same problem. I had to order one from Randy's Offroad. He was in TTC to in the flaming cheeto. He ordered like 30 of them for his shop. He might still have one you could order. Let me know if you want to call him and I will PM you his number.

The video is pretty good. I dont have as much airtime as I would have liked. I knew I wasnt going to be shown on the tow test because I had a HUGE Pitbull tires sticker on the Scout. They made me pull it off right after the tow test. I wasnt able to make the mud pit so no footage there and they dont show me on the rocks either! That pissed me off. :mad3: I had a pretty decent run. I think I took 5th and Im the only one they dont show on it.

Coverage of the hillclimb is cool and the coverage of the tank trap kicks ace! Its sweet to see the Pitbulls pull me through the canyon where everyone else had problems. I barely spun a tire!:smokin:

Even though I am a little biased I think this is the best TTC video they have made. It doesnt have any stupid narration. The only problem with it is Tony Becker asking everyone about their tire pressure over and over and over and over again. But its put together well (

When you have a Bastard rig and run Bastard tires, you won't get much time to shine.

I really think they are AFRAID to show that the Rockers do out perform other tires. Because they are not the old standard tires that advertise heavily with them, they sure as hell don't want to give them anymore coverage than necessary.

Did MT offer free tires again this year to run in TTC?

They did. They called me like 2 weeks before the competition. I had the Pitbulls long before that. I guess they called everyone but only 2 of the competitors took them. I wouldnt be surprised if they dont sponsor TTC anymore. Either that or they need to make a 49 or bigger to stay in the game.

Binderbasher and I were BSing about this after wheeling this weekend. His Iroks seem to bite a bit better then my bias TSL SXs and we talked bout Rockers. Any real snow wheeling with them, especialy hills and ice?
