I've got 5 Swamper TSL's sitting in the shop that I just ordered...

I would like to groove them and have a pattern picked out in the way I am going to do them...

The main problem is lack of tool...I don't wanna spend $100+ just to do 6 tires...
Here is what I am offering...

I am willing to put down a deposit, or insurance, or some form of return reassurance, if someone would ship their groover for use, I'll promptly use it, return it, then you send back the $$$ and keep an agreed upon amount for yourself.

Would anyone be interested?

Guys - a hand-held groover is about $60....

Shipping is gonna run you $20 or so both ways, more if Daniel's is one of the larger grooving units...

Am I missing something here?

Snake,

I live about 45 minutes from Gary Indiana. If you want to come over some weekend you can use the groover for free.

PM me if interested.

www.rpmnet.com

Afco racing groover is $59 with $5 shipping. I cut each V of my TSL's in half. Took me about an hour to do all 4. I just used teh standard #5 tip. Its the exact same size as the stock grooves in a swamper, well at least a 36" swamper.

Cool deal Daniel, nice to know there are still nice people out there:D

Sure man, I don't mind paying a lil bit extra $$$ to use a good tool...Plus time is limited between work and working on the yota, so If i can use it while I am at work between mounting semi tires or dead spells then I can knock it out in a day or two...

I mat need to do that also Daniel. I am changing my mind slowly on what tires I am going to run. I am thinking some of those 43 inch XLs might work better on a 20 inch wheel.

THe one I own is the worlds best... A Rillfit @$400 plus blades $1 each

I can gruuve a 1 inch by 1/2 inch groove in a tire as fast as someone can cut hair!! NO SMOKE no bent blades no crooked cuts ect!

If someone really wants to groove cuts THAT big (most have no need) a chainsaw works surprisingly well :p

Otherwise, my little "soldering iron" as you like to call it will do 90% of the grooving people in 4 wheeling are looking to do... And with you charging $25 plus shipping both ways - about the same money and they can OWN a groover like I have :p
