I was wondering if anyone knows anything about the dana 20 t-case that came in early blazers. I have one at my cabin in a old blazer and it's mounted behind an old 3 speed with the shift on steering column. I was wondering what the input shaft spline count is. I think that the dana 20 came behind sm465's as well. Are the 3 speed transmissions 10 spline like the sm465's?
I was looking to use it as a range box inbetween my sm465 and np205. I know all jeep dana 20's have female input shafts so if the chevy dana 20 has a female input shaft you could use a real small adapter between the dana 20 and the sm465 unlike the factory 205 adapter which hogs 7 inches of precious wheelbase..
Thx

I ran the 465/20 set up in my blazer for about a year if I rember correctly it is a 6 spline input on the 20. it is not the same as on the 465 there is a coupler shaft between the two. the factory addapter is fairly long. If you are iterested I know where my old set up is still sitting, the 465 is trashed but the t-case is fresh.

Thanks for the info. To rehash. The 465 to dana 20 adapter uses a drive sleve like the 205? Are the input shafts on the dana 20 the same for both the 465 and the 3 speed combos?
I have a 465 now and have a dana 20 that is behind a 3 speed. What I'm wondering is if they will mate together..cause even if I don't have the 465/20 adapter I gues I could fab one.
How long is the adapter between your dana 20 and 465?

Thanks
