does anyone know what size the banjo bolts are for 1980+ calipers? every listing says 1980-90. i have a 60 from an 87 f350 and i just bought new calipers and i cant find a bolt to save my life. it felt like a 3/8 24 but it got tight..... napa had a listing but just apart number and when the bolts came in they were 2 different sizes and neither matched. i went by manloves and they list for just FORD w/ discs is a metric i think i twas 10x1.5x28 it was the same for GM and what not so im REALLY confused now!

if anyone knows can they let me know manloves ordered a pair of the metric should be in by like noon im gonna run the caliper over and take a look. i NEEED to get these f'n things so i can bleed the brakes.

thanks

Both my Ranger and Bronco ones were 3/8x24 threads with a 9/16 head. I don't think theres a reason for a F-350 one to be different. Thats not to say they aren't, though.

thanks junkie

i figured that is what it was.... i found a couple blots at the junkyard. just an fyi these things are not listed in many books and are not avail at any parts stores. ive cheked just about all of them. Luckly one of the yards i go to keep calipers on the shelf and they just cut the brake lines. so the guy didnt care about the bolts he grabbed them for me for a buck.

I had a problem finding them too, got them from a Ford dealer.
