I do like that you could just bolt it to a piece of stock and leave. MC 12-20-2008, 10:18 AM Hexapod is a cool idea. The Okuma machine can do everything a 5 axis can do but not as much as a 4 axis. This means you can machine the top and sides of a part but not the underneath unless it has another axis (conventional 4th or rotary) to get to the bottom of the part. A Hexapod spindle on the top and bottom of a part would be wild!
